Gaon Chart Releases Rankings for the Year 2012

Gaon Chart is the national record chart of South Korea. It is complied by the Korea Music Content Industry Association with an aim to create a national chart for Korea similar to the Billboard charts and Oricon charts.

MAMA D-20 Rankings

The 2012 Mnet Asian Music Awards (MAMA) is upon us, and like many of you, we’re excitedly counting down the days to the biggest music event of the year.
As many of you already know, the winners are decided by your votes, so as we draw closer to the big day, we’ll be rounding up the current rankings and making note of any big trends or shifts in the votes, so stay tuned!
With 20 days to go until the 2012 MAMA, as of today, Super Junior is leading the votes for Best Male Group as well as the top categories of Artist of the Year and Song of the Year for Sexy, Free & Single with 33.5 percent, 29.2 percent and 30.4 percent, respectively.
The Queen of K-Pop, BoA, who made a stellar comeback this year, also has a strong showing in the polls currently, as she is in the lead in both the Best Female Artist and Best Dance Performance – Solo categories with 52.9 percent and 39.8 percent of the votes, respectively.
The numbers are close and can change at any moment, based on your votes, so keep clicking clicking away!

Over 30,000 Thai fans attended the ‘ONE ASIA TOUR 2012 M! Countdown Smile Thailand‘ concert on October 4, and now, fans from all over the world can watch what they missed.
