 Koda Kumi Celebrates 30th Birthday With 1st Nippon Budokan Concert
On November 13th, Koda Kumi not only celebrated her 30th birthday, but also held her first concert at the prestigious Nippon Budokan.

The singer performed 32 songs for the "KODA KUMI premium Night ~Love & Songs~" concert 30 of the songs were chosen through a poll of 500,000 fans. With 8 outfits, tons of songs, and a special medley, Kumi wowed the crowd with her performances.

Fans were well aware that the concert occurred on the singer's birthday. The crowded began singing "Birthday Eve" and chanted, "Kuu-chan! Happy birthday!", bringing the singer to tears. A 1.5 meter tall birthday cake was rolled out afterwards to celebrate her birthday.

"Being Koda Kumi for more than 10 years, getting married, having a baby...Is it ok to be this happy? I don't think any other singer is as loved as I am. I'm so lucky!," she told the audience.
At the end of the concert, Kumi announced that she will be holding an arena tour next March. She will hold 11 shows in 8 locations.
